Advanced River Wild

A 2.5 hour ride for intermediate to advanced horse riders. This ride starts out in the arena with an introduction to Natural Horsemanship and Freestyle riding, then takes riders out on the stunning Dart River. A braided river system with various crossings, sandy stretches and stunning views. 

This ride is an education based ride, so while we want everyone to be able to have a canter on the river, you will still be taken through the preparation you and your horse need and given exercise to practice to create the best partnership you can with your trusty steed. This ride is specifically designed for the intermediate and advanced riders who wish to embrace and learn about Natural Horsemanship while taking in the incredible landscape of the Dart Valley, and ride along some of the most impressive scenery in the world. 

Rider's MUST have a minimum of 31 rides and be comfortable at the canter. For mixed ability groups, we have the River Wild original, which is suitable for first time riders.
